Magnetic Sensors

KTH5701AQ2DNE

Manufacturer: CONNTEK

The KTH5701AQ2DNE is a 3-axis Hall-effect magnetic sensor that measures the X, Y and Z components of a magnetic field through a single package. Output is fully digital over I²C or SPI, so no external ADC or analog front end is required. The part is qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 1, which makes it usable in body, chassis and powertrain-adjacent modules rather than confined to consumer designs.

Overview

Key features

  • Three magnetic axes measured in one package — replaces multiple 1D sensors
  • Direct digital output removes the need for an external ADC
  • Programmable thresholds allow interrupt-driven designs that cut MCU polling load
  • AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualification covers automotive temperature range

Typical applications

  • Position and rotation sensing in actuators and valves
  • Joystick and throttle position detection
  • Proximity and presence detection behind a sealed housing
  • Rotor position feedback in BLDC motors
