Overview
The PY25Q64HA is the 64 Mbit member of the PUYA PY25Q serial NOR Flash line, positioned where 8 Mbyte of code space is enough and the board already runs from a 3.3 V rail. The family datasheet specifies a single 2.7 – 3.6 V supply for read, program and erase, SPI mode 0 and mode 3 support, and 100,000 erase cycles with 20-year data retention.
Because the command set matches the higher-density parts in the family, moving between the 64 Mbit and 128 Mbit devices is normally a code-size decision rather than a firmware rewrite. The part is available in standard SOP-8 and USON packages and is aimed at embedded code storage, configuration data and boot images in consumer and industrial products.
