KTH3103

With 2.25 mV/Gs at 3.3 V and a ±620 Gs range, the KTH3103 trades measurement span for resolution one step further than the KTH3102. It fits position and current sensing where the magnet sits at a fixed, modest air gap and the design wants more output swing per gauss. Bandwidth stays at 30 kHz, so a fast current loop is not limited by the sensor.
Overview
The KTH3103 is the centre member of the CONNTEK KTH31xx linear Hall line, with 2.25 mV/Gs at 3.3 V and 3.40 mV/Gs at 5 V, corresponding to a field span of about ±620 Gs at 3.3 V. It is the balanced choice in the family: enough gain to resolve small position changes, enough range to avoid saturation at a normal air gap.
The output is a ratiometric analog voltage that rests at VDD/2 in zero field, increasing with a south pole and decreasing with a north pole. The datasheet specifies a 3.0 – 5.5 V supply, about 4.5 mA at 3.3 V, -40 to +125 °C operation and SOT-23, TO-92S or DFN1616 packaging.
